1. What made you choose Courtney Carte Boudoir?

I chose Courtney because her pictures looked absolutely stunning and she seemed like an upbeat bubbly person!

2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was nervous about being pretty close to naked around someone I didn’t know! Haha

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part was laughing with Courtney and Tina about poses or faces or noises that were made, definitely helped keep the mood light and me comfy.

4. How do you feel now that you've completed the session?

I am so glad i decided to take the leap and have pictures done! I have a lot more self confidence and I swear I look at the pictures 5x a day!

5. Would you recommend Courtney Carte Boudoir to others?

Of course I would! I would have her information plastered on my vehicle 😂 she is absolutely amazing and I would go through the experience all over again!

Alyssa's Boudoir Experience 1. What made you choose Courtney Carte Boudoir? I chose Courtney Carte photography because in all the work she does she captures such empowering photos. I’ve never seen a picture of Courtney’s and thought “ this is good, but it doesn’t really capture raw emotion or feelings”. Also everybody seems to feel very safe and comfortable with Courtney. 2. What were you nervous about going into your session?  I was really nervous that I wasn’t going to be “enough”, and I was going to just look like the blob I tend to feel like. I know it sounds crazy because this sort of business/hobby strives on body positivity and empowering women. Courtney and Tina put those thoughts to rest in a hurry! Also I definitely learned we are our own worst critic!  3. What was your favorite part of the experience?  My favorite part of the experience was how empowered this made me feel. Hello there!  I'm Courtney! I run Courtney Carte Boudoir! I am a very down to earth, very straight forward person. I don't sugar coat, but I would give you the shirt off my back!  I love to collect makeup, coffee mugs and positive quote art work! I literally have way too many coffee cups and no where to really put them. And all the makeup... All the makeup that I never wear. LOL!  You will find me on shoot day in yoga pants and my hair up. Because yoga pants are AMAZING, am I right?!  I have 3 Kiddos, 1 fur baby and I have been with my husband for 3 years! I love boudoir for how it can change a person. How it has changed ME. I remember the day that I looked into the mirror and started to BELIEVE that I am beautiful on the outside... I became ok with my "flaws" society has deamed on me. It was so liberating...  Boudoir did that for me . And it can do that for you as well!  Boudoir is for YOU. And I can't wait to share it with you!
